Unhealthy eating habits and misinformation regarding the S.A.D (standard American diet) have contributed to the obesity epidemic in the United States and have most certainly played a major role in my personal weight battles.  Living a sedentary lifestyle and filling the body with toxins rather than encouraging movement and fueling it with vital nutrients results in multiple risk factors, disease and potentially premature death. 

There are tons of buzz words floating around in the health and wellness space today: "Paleo, Macros, Clean Eating, Keto, Gluten Free, Natural, Organic, Bioengineered" the list goes on and changes almost daily.  Fitness and nutrition is always in flux. Simply stated, there is no single uniform way to eat and train but there is definitely a “blueprint.” There are plenty of guidelines to follow that can easily get you on the right path to success no matter what your health and fitness goals may be.
